A recent study by the Food and Drug Administration found that more than one-third of Viagra-like medications sold in the United States may contain hidden ingredients, according to data from the agency’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER).
The drug was tested for safety in clinical trials involving more than 2,000 patients who were taking Viagra, according to the study.
About one-half of the patients had taken the drug for more than six months, and the other half were using only one or none of the prescribed drugs.
