A Los Angeles woman who took Viagra to improve her erectile dysfunction has been sentenced to three years in federal prison for selling a drug designed to combat the sexual side effects of Viagra.
Tina Armenta, 36, of Los Angeles, was sentenced today in U. S. District Court for the Middle District of Los Angeles, where she lives with her partner, Jason L. Armenta, 23.
Linda K. Armenta, a pharmacist and the co-owner of Viagra and Kamagra, said her arrest was part of a growing trend of people who are not only taking medication but also taking illicit drugs.
